CrossDock Insights (“CrossDock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of its Users (“User,” “your,” or “you”). This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the CrossDock Platform (the “Platform”), access the CrossDock website at https://crossdockinsights.com/ (the “Website”), or use any CrossDock mobile application (the “App”). 

CrossDock is committed to protecting the privacy of Users whose information is collected and stored while using the Website, App, or Platform. This Privacy Policy applies to our Website, Platform, and all applications offered to the public. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Use or Terms of Service, as applicable.

We do not give third parties access to your personal information except to subprocessors and service providers who assist us in providing our services and who are contractually bound to protect your information.

CrossDock Insights provides businesses and individuals news and major updates on supply chain, logistics & global supply chain (“Services”). 

Upon successful registration (as defined in our Terms of Service), Users may receive access to a customized link to their Platform in the form www.username.crossdockinsights.com (each a “User Platform” or “User Website”). User Websites are accessible only by: (a) CrossDock; (b) CrossDock employees, consultants, officers, managers, directors, and agents; (c) the User; and (d) Authorized Users designated by the User. This Privacy Policy applies to all User Websites.

  1. TERRITORIAL RESTRICTION 


Our Website, App, and Platform are available globally. If you are a resident of the United States, the laws of the State where we are incorporated and headquartered (as applicable) and the state in which you live may apply. If you are a resident of another country, please ensure compliance with local laws before using our services. You must also comply with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use / Terms of Service. a. Geolocation and Equipment Information. We may collect non-identifying information such as geolocation, details about your internet connection, device/equipment used to access our services, and usage details. 

b. Financial Information. We currently do not collect or store credit card or bank account information; 

c. Social Media Login Data. If you register or sign in using a third-party social media account (e.g., Facebook, Twitter), we may receive profile information from that provider (which may include name, email, friends list, and other public profile data). Use of such information is governed by this Privacy Policy. We do not control third-party social media providers — please review their privacy notices for details. 

d. Information from Other Sources. We may supplement our records with information from public databases, marketing partners, affiliates, data providers, and social media providers. We implement security measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Our Website and App receive regular security scans, penetration tests, and malware scans, and use SSL/TLS encryption. Access to personal information by employees is restricted and secured with usernames and passwords. We rely on third-party payment processors for payment information. 

Although we strive to use reasonable measures to protect your personal information, no online transmission is completely secure. Transmission of information is at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Security Measures. All information you provide is stored on secure servers behind firewalls. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential. We are not liable for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures. 

Fair Information Practice Principles. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify you within seventy-two (72) hours via (i) email and/or (ii) our Platform notification system. We adhere to individual redress principles and recognize your right to pursue enforceable remedies as applicable under law.

We may share personal information with contractors, service providers, and third parties (“Partners”) to provide our Services. We require such Partners to protect your personal information and use it only for permitted purposes. 

Disclosure of Personal Information: 

● We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information without restriction. 

● We require contractors, service providers, and other third parties to enter into contracts to keep personal information confidential and to use it only for the purposes we authorize. 

● We may disclose personal information in the event of a merger, sale, or transfer of business. 

● We may disclose personal information as required by law (e.g., court order or government request), to enforce agreements, for billing and collections, to protect rights or safety, or for fraud prevention and credit risk reduction.

Third Party Disclosure: We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information to others without advance notice. This does not include hosting partners and service providers who assist in operating our Website, App, or Platform, provided they agree to confidentiality obligations.

  1. GOOGLE ADSENSE AND GOOGLE ANALYTICS 


Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our Website and App. We use Google Analytics to collect and process certain usage data. For information on Google Analytics and how to opt out, please refer to Google’s privacy resources. 

We have implemented advertising features including remarketing with Google AdSense, Display Network reporting, and demographics/interests reporting. These cookies compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and related features. 


  1. CUSTOMERS AND VISITORS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES 


We are headquartered in the United States and operate in multiple countries, including India. Personal information you provide may be accessed, transferred to, or processed in the United States, India, or other countries where our servers or third-party hosting partners are located. By using our site, you consent to transfers of Personal Information outside your country, including to the United States and India, for processing. 

A. European Union, Great Britain, and Switzerland 

If you are located in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, you have certain rights under the GDPR. We comply with the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (New SCCs) for transfers of Personal Data from the EU to other countries. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the New SCCs, the New SCCs will govern with respect to transfers. 

GDPR commitments include, among other things: 

● Processing Personal Data only on documented instructions; 

● Applying appropriate technical and organizational measures; 

● Limiting personnel access to Personal Data to those who need it; and

● Keeping records of access to Personal Data.

You may exercise rights such as access, rectification, objection, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and withdrawal of consent by contacting [email protected]. We will respond to inquiries within thirty (30) days, and may request additional information to verify identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. 

B. Brazil (LGPD) 

This section supplements the Privacy Policy for residents of Brazil and reflects compliance with Brazil’s LGPD. We have appointed a Brazilian Privacy and Data Protection Officer (contact below) to help protect Brazilian users’ rights in compliance with LGPD. In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users within 72 hours via email and/or Platform notification. 

C. Canada (PIPEDA) This section supplements the Privacy Policy for Canadian residents and reflects PIPEDA principles. Canadian users may request access, correction, and deletion of their personal information. We will respond to requests within thirty (30) calendar days and may require identity verification. 


  1. OTHER PRIVACY RIGHTS 


A. California Privacy Rights CrossDock does not sell personal information as defined under California law. California residents may request certain disclosures regarding personal information shared for third-party direct marketing; to request such disclosures or to request deletion or access, contact [email protected] or write to our address below. Please note that deletion requests may limit our ability to provide services. 

B. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights Residents of certain U.S. states have additional rights (Massachusetts, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, New York, Virginia, etc.) under their state privacy laws. To exercise such rights, contact [email protected]. We will notify you if our obligations under any of these laws change. 


  1. COPPA (CHILDREN UNDER 13)


Our Website, App, and Platform are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact [email protected]. IF YOU ARE UNDER 13, PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS OR USE OUR WEBSITE, APP, OR PLATFORM. 


  1. CAN-SPAM ACT OF 2003 

We follow the CAN-SPAM Act requirements. We will: 

● Not use false or misleading headers or subject lines; 

● Identify marketing messages appropriately;

● Monitor third-party email services for compliance; and

CrossDock may change this Privacy Policy at any time. Modifications will be effective upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on our Website. Your continued use of the Website, App, or Platform after posting constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We will also notify you of material changes by reasonable means as appropriate.
